Privacy

danitex.org is a self-hosted Matrix service. Messages, media, profile data and room membership are stored on the homeserver and in encrypted backup storage.

Administrators may access server data when needed to operate, secure, or moderate the service. Do not use public rooms for sensitive information; use end-to-end encrypted rooms where appropriate.

Account email addresses are used for sign-in, verification and service messages. Registration is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Server logs may contain IP addresses and user agents for security and abuse handling.

Reports and moderation actions may be retained to protect the service and to handle appeals.
